Thigh high stockings were all the rage at one time. Well, me being a rail and tall to boot, was not particularly a candidate for the product. Alas, I tried them anyway and while strolling the mall with both hands full, they lost one leg lost it's grip and spiraled down to my ankle. How embarrassing!!!!
So, I ducked into a petite clothing shop and took them off in the dressing room. I even stuck out over the dressing stall. Dang!

I haven't worn hose since. I am liberated.
